The National Premier League (NPL) competition match between Hekari United and Lae City Dwellers in Lae will not go as expected and the Lae City Dwellers management are not happy about this.
Hekari United are set to play a friendly match in Jakarta, Indonesia Perispura Football Club following an MoU with Perispura and Hekari to develop the code of soccer.
Lae City Dwellers Coach, Peter Gunemba in an interview today told Kalang Sports,  they haven't received any notice from Hekari United or through the Competitions Department that their game with Hekari this weekend will not be played.

He said he learnt of this on Thursday afternoon through a colleague and such decisions must be made in advance and the opponent team must be aware.
Gunemba said competitions run by the  NPL are sanctioned under the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and FIFA and must be respected.
PNGFA Competition Manager, Ahjmad Tekwie told the media that Hekari's missed game will be played as washout but Gunemba argued that there will only be a washout unless there's proper negotiations with PNGFA and Lae City Dwellers.
Gunemba said they were fully prepared for this game and such cancellations are unprofessional and they are unhappy about this.
Lae City Dwellers Captain, Raymond Gunemba says the NPL competition is in the PNGFA calendar and Hekari's is good for soccer in the country but it must be held at a right time.
He said what they did is out of the PNGFA calendar.
