SP Hunters newly Appointed Captain Ase Boas said he's still surprised yet proud when appointed as captain of the 2017 Hunters team.
Boas said he was surprised by this announcement, because he didn’t get any word from anyone that he would be the captain, and he is looking forward to lead the boys this year.
"With a great team of players who are physically and mentally fit for this season, I am sure they will make an impact in this year’s 2017 Intrust Super Cup season."
Boas maintained this humility while speaking to this newsroom during the Hunters season dedication today at Vabukori Village.
Meantime, the SP PNG Hunters have their season opener against the CQ Capras at Browne Park on Saturday March 4.
